Awareness Training

Safety Awareness Training is designed to perform as an introductory safety course specifically job site safety and common health hazards associated with the Construction and General Industry fields. Participants in the course will receive training on hazard awareness, identification, recognition, avoidance, control, abatement, and prevention. Under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, employers are responsible for providing a safe and healthful workplace. This Includes providing adequate awareness training to employees for identified or reasonably expected hazards in their work environment. The training CPSS provides involves a combination of mandatory and elective topics. Training in the safe way for workers to do their jobs well is an investment that will pay back repeatedly in fewer injuries and illnesses, improved morale, lower insurance premiums, and more.
