Heavy Equipment Training

Heavy equipment operator training is critical for safety on any job site. OSHA requires that the employer instruct each employee in the recognition and avoidance of unsafe conditions and the regulations applicable to their work environment to include heavy equipment. CPSS provides custom levels of heavy equipment training to meet the stringent requirements of both Federal and State regulatory agencies.

Equipment Certification Training: A combination of formal instruction (lecture, discussion, and written material) practical training (demonstrations performed by the trainer and practical exercises performed by the trainee) and evaluation of the operator's performance in the workplace.

Regulatory Re-Certification Training: A course developed to meet the compliance requirements established by organizations such as OSHA and ANSI that require re-certification on specific equipment every 3 years.

Operator Evaluations: An on-site evaluation of equipment operators or facility operations to ensure competency in knowledge and safe operation of equipment.

Remedial Training: A specialized training curriculum developed to identify and remedy the deficiencies of specific operators or facility operation procedures.
